RALEIGH, N.C. — Tim Sweet has been promoted to vice president of operations at Digital Switching Systems, LLC, the company announced in a release. Digital Switching Systems provides electronic and mechanical switching solutions for the marine and transportation industries.

Sweet has served in multiple engineering and purchasing roles at the company, including application and product innovation, sales, training and distribution management.
“Tim’s extensive engineering and management experience coupled with his understanding of onboard electrical and electronic systems has led him to assume this executive role,” said Eric Vaughn, CEO of DSS and parent company DNA Group, Inc.
