LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Brunswick Corporation announced
today that Bruce J. Byots has been appointed vice
president, corporate and investor relations. Byots
succeeds Kathryn J. Chieger, who retired after 12 years
with the company, and will report to Peter B. Hamilton,
senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Byots managed investor relations at The ServiceMaster
Company for seven years before coming to Brunswick.
Before that, he was with Stone Container Corporation for
15 years in a variety of finance roles. Byots holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Chicago's
DePaul University.
“We are very pleased to have Bruce join our team at
Brunswick. He brings a record of achievement as well as
substantial experience in many facets of financial
disciplines. He takes the reins from Kathryn Chieger,
upon whom we have relied for her wise counsel and IR
leadership for more than a decade,” Hamilton said in a
statement.
