WARREN, R.I. – The American Boat Builders & Repairers
Association elected its 2008 officers and directors at
the International Marina & Boatyard Conference held Jan.
19-22 in Atlanta, ABBRA said in a statement yesterday.
Charles Teran, owner of Fiberglass Specialties in Tahoe
City, Wash., will serve his second term as president of
the 20-member board. Doug Domenie of Brewer Dauntless
Shipyard was re-appointed vice president and Jack
Stumborg of Atlantic Yacht Basin was re-appointed
secretary/treasurer.
New board members are: Michael Keyworth of Brewer Cove
Haven, Barrington, R.I.; Joe Parks of 3M, St. Paul,
Minn.; and Randy Ramsey of Jarrett Bay Boatworks,
Beauford, N.C.
Returning board members include: Nancy Bodick, Milford
Boat Works; James Bronstien, Broward Marine; John Hall,
Frank Hall Boatyard; Neal Harrell, Brooks Marine Group;
Frank Herhold, Marine Industries Association of South
Florida; Jonathan Jones, Haven Harbour Marina; Pam
Lendzion, MarineTech Management Company; Bill Munger,
Conanicut Marine Service; Peter Sabo, Camachee Yacht
Yard; Andrew Saunders, Saunders Yacht Works; Edwin
Sherman, American Boat & Yacht Council; Steve Smith,
Awlgrip North America, John Underwood, Lockwood Marine;
and Garry Williams, Osprey Marine Composites.
